• For rising stem gate valves, center knock holes may be removed.

Brady Gate Valve Lockout Usage

• 1. Close the gate valve;
• 2. Install the Brady 65561 around the gate valve handle and then merge;
• 3. Insert the safety padlock from the opening and lock it;
• 4. Ensure that the valve handle is properly sealed and cannot be operated again.
• Note: For handwheels with spindle (fire rising stem gate valve), access can be opened with pliers between the two halves of the Brady 65561.
